My name is Louisa. I’ve been a client of WKM since they incorporated their business, around two years ago, and my adviser is Adrian Mee.

I got in touch with WKM because I became a little bit unsatisfied with my previous adviser, so I was looking for somebody new.

I personally find that with my financial affairs, there are not many people I can talk to who can help me understand where I am with the amount of money that I’ve saved, and what the future might look like. So, I was looking for somebody who would be able to break that down for me and give me some reassurance and guidance.

I chose WKM because right from the initial meeting, they were very transparent about their fees, and gave me reassurance and examples of what reports they could share with me to ensure that my finances would be on track.

One of the most significant things WKM have helped me with is to use my SIPP pension scheme to buy a disused Methodist chapel on the edge of the Lake District. I was able to use my pension scheme to do a lot of the structural work before I flipped it into a residential property in my own name, and it was fantastic that Adrian was able to help me do that.

I really enjoy my conversations with Adrian because he gives me different scenarios and calculations so that I understand what my retirement options are. Whilst I’m still quite young, I’m hoping to retire young and I’m very confident that Adrian will help me achieve that objective, which is amazing.

WKM have most certainly given me a lot of confidence about my financial future. It was something that would genuinely keep me awake at night sometimes because I find that my peer group don’t really talk about finances. But Adrian gives me the reassurance I need and he’s able to back it up with facts and figures as well, so I now feel very confident about my financial future.

I really enjoy using WKM’s financial portal, because I’ve got everything there in one place, all the reports and that kind of thing. I do quite like to be paperless, so that’s a big plus for me.

The three words I would use to describe WKM are knowledgeable, reassuring, and fun.

The best thing about working with WKM is that they really empower me to be able to make good decisions, and they break it down in a way that I can understand. I can honestly say I really enjoy my meetings with Adrian; I go away, feeling a lot better about life.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending WKM to people; I already do, because I think they’re absolutely amazing and they can help absolutely anybody if they’re prepared to listen and want to learn. WKM will break everything down for you so it’s understandable and the investment choices that they’ve been making for me have been absolutely incredible. So yeah, absolutely, I would recommend them.
